The Red Sky property is located in the Fraser Plateau, approximately 140 kilometres west of Williams Lake.

Regionally, Red Sky is underlain by Jurassic volcanics of the Hazelton Group that have been intruded by Jurassic to Cretaceous granodiorites of the Chilanko Igneous Complex.

Locally, mineralization occurs as disseminated pyrite and sphalerite within dioritic intrusions. The exact type of mineralization is not well known due to the lack of work completed on the property.

The property was first staked in 2009 by Brett Resources Inc., which was operating under the terms of an Exploration Agreement with Kinross Gold Corp.

In 2010, Brett Resources Inc. completed a property wide till geochemistry survey.

In 2011, Brett Resources Inc. was acquired by Osiko Mining Corp. Colorado Resources Ltd. made an agreement with Osiko Mining Corp. to acquire the Red Sky property and assume all obligations of the Exploration Agreement with Kinross Gold Corp.

In 2011, Colorado Resources Ltd. conducted an exploration program of geochemical rock sampling, prospecting, mapping and diamond drilling. Highlights of the drill program include drillhole RS1104, which assayed 1.27 per cent zinc and 4.6 grams per tonne silver over 2.2 metres (Assessment Report 32640).
